Ahhh, this outfit speaks straight to my matchy-matchy soul. I love this pear sweater so much...it's cheerful enough to remind me of spring while being warm enough for this cold, gray weather. I adore how the little leaf perfectly matches retro jade...brilliant! Really, how can I be anything less than cheery with a big yellow pear on my chest?
How's your week going? Mine has been quite nice, actually. Thanks for visiting!
ooooh now i kick myself for not getting the pear - it looks so great with that skirt!
ReplyDeletemy week has been.. okay. i'm tired and ready for the weekend though! hope you stay warm!
Thanks, maybe it will pop back for you!
DeleteMy favorite graphic sweater from J.Crew this winter! It's lovely on you and perfect with the retro jade skirt. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, the pear is so cute! I love this outfit, all the bright colors look so happy. That blue is so right for you (I know, I say that about pink too, you look so nice in brights).
ReplyDeleteThanks Danielle! Good thing I like a lot of color! :) I actually think I don't look good in black!
DeleteLove your styling. I never would have thought to pair this with jade. I've been trying to grab this on pop back and a promo. I really like the look of this with graphic black and white too. Maybe someday I'll get lucky!
ReplyDeleteOhhh pairing it with black and white is a great idea! Thanks!
DeleteThat's fun. Not too matchy-matchy at all. I think it's a creative...pairing...lol
ReplyDeleteHa thanks Gigi it's about as creative as my Type A brain gets! :)
DeleteI, too, have this sweater and paired it with a navy checked perfect shirt and the retro jade skirt. However, when I wore this to class (I'm a high school teacher in West Chester, OH), the first thing that a male student said to me was, "Mrs. Robertson, you have such a juicy pear (pair) on your chest!" The whole class died laughing, and so did I. Now, I'm trying to decide if I can wear this outfit again. I'm torn, because I really loved that outfit! Oh, my job!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! Clever kid! Haha!
DeleteSo cute, Jeannie! I love how you manage to add some fun to your work outfits.
