Artist's Rendering Dress by Odille: Anthropologie, summer 2011
Merino Ethereal Ruffle Cardigan: J.Crew, winter 2010
Bow pumps: Circa Joan & David, similar in black here |
I seriously love how creative Anthropologie is with the names of all the items it carries. One of my customers made a very appropriate remark today about this dress: "that dress looks like a painting!" And it does! Hence the name. I love how unique this dress is, and I love all the pretty shades of green. And the pockets of course! I added a picture of how I threw a cardigan over it for most of the day for work. Anthro and J.Crew, you get me every time.
On a much more somber note, I wanted to share that I had a reminder this week of how fragile life truly is. I don't want to get into details but I will say this: Take a moment to hug your family today, and give thanks for your health. I will do the same!
oh wow...... very nice dress!

Green looks so great on you - I'm envious!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I loved this dress but I think I was a mite too short to pull it off. Looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty dress! I love Anthros names too!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! So nice!
ReplyDeleteAh! So gorgeous! This dress is the one that got away for me :( I was almost about to get it, and then decided to wait. I really wish I had splurged, especially cause I work in an art gallery. Ah well. I've been having so much fun going through your blogs, I love how all the bright colors and patterns you wear and its all office appropriate. Thanks for sharing!

I am such a sucker for watercolor prints! Anthropologie is doing everything right these days. So is J. Crew. Great for them, bad for my wallet. I'd have a hard time finding the right color for the heels with this outfit but you've done it perfectly. Beautiful!
