Polka dot dress: Banana Republic, spring 2012 Azalea necklace in vibrant flame: J.Crew, summer 2012 Peeptoes: Anne Klein |
Spekaing of statement pieces folks, I am seriously considering making a big (to me at least) purchase of a real bubble necklace from J.Crew. This one to be exact. I think the kelly green is a perfect year-round color, and I am already thinking of dozens of outfits to plan around it. As much as I adore my Factory version, I still yearn for the huge real thing from retail. What are your thoughts? Do you have a real bubble? Was it worth the cost? I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting!
love the outfit!
ReplyDeletei don't have a real bubble, only one i found on etsy. i still can't bring myself to shell out that amount of money.
OMG! haha I have the same BR dress and I adore it so much. It's my conference/presentation dress and it makes me smile everytime I put it on.
ReplyDeleteI just got my first TWO bubble necklaces from http://www.etsy.com/shop/ilycouture
they are only 49$ and you can get free shipping if you visit her blog and become a follower. I think they are a great cheaper alternative and am thinking about getting a few more for the great price. I got the white and fushia ones and can not wait to wear them! HTH

DRESS is fantastic!!! IF J. Crew's "STYLE GUIDE" says SPOTS ARE IN--well then they are def. IN!!!
ReplyDeleteI just got the new catalog today--I'm not feeling anything in this one--not yet anyhow--sometimes it takes more than one flip through.
You are such elegant woman! I'm overwhelmed by your unique style and I think you'll be my inspiration :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm 21 and still looking for my own style... glad I visited your website!
Greetings, Martyna! :-)
So funny to read this post as I am considering the same thing - getting a real bubble necklace. Please post about it if you do get one.
ReplyDeleteWow thank you ladies so much! You are all too kind!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late in seeing this, but I'm considering buying the Bubble Necklace too. I'm still mulling over the price. I'd love to know what you decide to buy it.
